First inclusive swing has been installed in Gdansk

Maja Foundation, located in Gdańsk-Kokoszki, running the Environmental Self-help House at ul. Biologna in Gdańsk-Kokoszki. They developed the area adjacent to the building for an outdoor gym. This facility will primarily serve the needs of the residents of the Home, half of whom use wheelchairs, and all those who want to spend time actively outdoors. The official opening is yet to take place, but you can already use the devices installed there.

For us as a manufacturer, this is a big step forward, because the beginnings of the integration swing project date back to last spring, when we launched a campaign on the Polak Potrafi.pl portal: https://polakpotrafi.pl/projekt/hustawka-integracyjna , hoping only that thighs.

Subsequent versions of the prototype were created and tested. The consultations were attended by centers and people involved in creating solutions that help people with disabilities in everyday life. This is NAVITA Rehabilitacja from Toruń, OWI in Gdańsk and Gdynia and prof. Marek Wysocki, director of the Universal Design Center at the Gdańsk University of Technology. A large dose of energy was also given by all the people who got involved in the project through the Pole Can Do portal.
